Composer Vicente Avella has been scoring to picture since 1996; when he developed a passion for the art form while taking film music courses at the Eastman School of Music. It was at that point that he realized that his love for both stories and music finds a perfect blend in films. Since then he has done extensive work in this field, having delivered scores to a number of award winning films and animations.

Alongside his film scoring activities, he remains active as pianist and concert music composer. He holds a B.M. in Piano Performance from Indiana University and a M.M. in Composition from the Eastman School of Music. Originally from Venezuela, he currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
