
Composer Vicente Avella has been scoring to picture since 1996; when realized that his love for both stories and music finds a perfect blend in films.
Since then, he has composed scores to a number of award winning films and animations.
The press has described his music as "good taste unto genius" (The Boston Globe).
Most recently, three of the films he scored were screened at the Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner.
He has worked as an orchestrator and on the music production for major network television shows such as Family Guy (FOX) & American Dad (FOX).
His concert and his film music has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. Alongside his film scoring activities, he remains active as pianist and concert music composer.
He holds a M.M. in Composition from the Eastman School of Music and a B.M. in Piano Performance from Indiana University.
Originally from Venezuela, he currently resides with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles, California.
